Objective: This Initiative started in 2002 and aimed at intensifying discussions between Europe and North America on climate change.
Project Description: High-level workshops will bring together stakeholders and specialists - including governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), business representatives and academics - in an informal setting to facilitate comprehensive discussion on new approaches and specific proposals for dealing with the policy divergence between the US and EU on climate change. Four one-day workshops where scheduled between March 2002 and June 2003.
